Monthly Overview

Guest Speaker Series

One of the best ways to improve and maintain cognitive functioning is through regularly using your brain! Keeping your mind and body active will keep you living healthy longer.

To exercise our brains here at One Eleven Seniors, we host weekly Guest Speaker Presentations, where we invite other local organizations to come speak to our members regarding topics of their concern or interest. Since our Speaker Program has launched, we have had the opportunity so far to hear from the Alzheimer’s Society Sudbury, Independent Living Sudbury Manitoulin, and Northern Initiative for Social Action. Each of these presentations has been specifically designed to appeal to and be accessible for seniors.

Our upcoming speaker series are as follows:

Thursday August 17th, 10:00AM: Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario, “Frauds and Scams”
